What a GREAT START!

We are fortunate to have had such a great start with our 540 students! Each day I see students that are smiling having a wonderful time at school. The teachers have done a tremendous job of helping our new friends in Kindergarten and Begindergarten adjust to their new "home" at LBW. We have 33 new students in first through fifth grade too. Thank you parents for continuing to have your children ready to learn each day. As we continue through our many weeks of school ahead, may the students' excitement of being at LBW never fade. We are proud of our school and each of you make it better by being a part of it. Welcome and please join us to make this the best year yet!

Loving to Learn!

I was fortunate to be at the National Principal's Conference during the last week of June in Long Beach, CA. It was an amazing three days of learning. My mind is overloaded with ideas that I want to pursue for our students/staff. However, I must be realistic as to what we can do in one month, one quarter, one semester, one year! I am exciting to share my learning with the staff, students and families at LBW. I love where I work and I thrive on learning from others! My goal this school year is to continue to post different things about our school on this blog to truly celebrate all the amazing things our teachers and support staff do to make LBW such a wonderful place to learn.
